Jennifer K. Fortune turned a college internship into a 30-year career in media planning and buying, with experience working at a number of upstate New York marketing and advertising agencies as well as a national media research company. 

Adept at dissecting consumer insight research, Jen takes a data-first approach to providing strategic, creative and cost-effective marketing solutions for B2B and B2C clients in a variety of industries. She has expertise in making investment recommendations across the full spectrum of traditional and digital media channels. 

Regarded as a smart, unbiased and responsive liaison between clients and media vendors, Jennifer understands how long-standing, meaningful, professional relationships amplify success. 

She received her bachelor’s degree in communication arts and Spanish from Allegheny College, and obtained a master’s degree in public relations management from Buffalo State University. Jen also holds a MBA certificate from the University at Buffalo. 

A proud native Buffalonian, Jennifer is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo, and has held board positions at Homespace, City Year Buffalo and the Buffalo State Communications Department Advisory Board. She works as an adjunct professor at local colleges where she takes great pleasure in mentoring and sharing knowledge with future marketing communications professionals.
